Jaipur (Rajasthan), August 11 (ANI): Rajasthan government will provide free ration till November 2020 to the beneficiary families of National Food Security Scheme (NFSA) in the state, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said. CM Gehlot announced this while reviewing the coronavirus situation in the state. Now beneficiaries will be given five kg of wheat per person and one kg of gram per family under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana’ as well as the NFSA. Instructing proper monitoring of the ration distribution system, the CM said that in the present circumstances it is very important for the poor to get ration on time. During the meeting, the Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to be more vigilant against corona infection during the period of continuous rain and seasonal diseases in the state. He also instructed the officials to prepare in advance to deal with such situation. He appealed to the people of Rajasthan to fully abide by the health protocols while going to public places, and maintain social distancing, wear mask and wash hands frequently.
