Rajasthan Govt to launch Special COVID-19 awareness drive on Jun 21

Jaipur (Rajasthan), June 10 (ANI): Rajasthan Government will launch a campaign in the state from 21st to 30th June to spread awareness about the COVID-19 pandemic among the people. The decision was taken in the review meeting held through video conference under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. In this ten-day special campaign, people will be made aware through various means to protect themselves from coronavirus. Campaign will also be carried out to debunk rumours related to the infection risks and about precautionary measures necessary after resumption of commercial and other activities in unlock 1.0. For this, with the cooperation of anganwadi workers, ANM, asha sahyoginis, village sewaks, patwaris and local public representatives, banners, pamphlets and coronavirus awareness material will be distributed door to door. During the meeting, the Chief Minister said, "We will have to take special caution regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in the next few months. Any kind of negligence will increase the chances of infection. Most of the activities have started in the first phase of Unlock-1, so people should take precautions like keeping social distance, wearing masks and avoiding crowded places. For this it is necessary to spread awareness on a large scale."
