New Delhi, November 25 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a video conference with the Chief Ministers of 8 states including Rajasthan regarding coronavirus management. In the video conference, the performance of Rajasthan as well as future strategy to combat COVID-19 was discussed. The Prime Minister said that bringing the mortality rate below one percent from the coronavirus should be the main goal of all states. During the meeting Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot informed attendees about better management being done by the state government. He said that "Rajasthan has been at the forefront on all the parameters as been advised by the Prime Minister to win the battle against COVID-19 and the state is in a better position than other states.". He informed that due to the efforts of the state government, the death rate in the state has remained consistently below one percent. The present mortality rate in the state is only 0.89 percent.
