Pune (Maharashtra), Dec 23 (ANI): A Pune-based entrepreneur is promoting environment awareness through her business in unique way. Pooja Badamikar up-cycles scrap tyres to make footwear. She said, "One billion scrap tyres are discarded annually in the world. I started working with help of local cobblers and made two prototypes. That's how the journey began." Pooja is in the business for last 2 years. She sells beautiful footwear made out of scrap tyres.
