Srinagar (J&K), Feb 18 (ANI): The demand and consumption for pulses are rising in Kashmir as locals are consuming pulses in huge quantities during winters. As people in the Valley change their food habits, market areas in Batamaloo, Amira Kadal, and Bohri Kadal receive a good number of customers. Varieties of pulses from Australia, Turkey, and Kenya are also available in these markets. Demand for chickpeas, kidney beans, lentils, mung beans are among the highest demand beans every year during the winter season.
