Proclaimed offender in a case of MCOCA arrested by crime branch

New Delhi, October 13 (ANI): Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested one Mangat Ram, who had jumped the parole and was declared proclaimed offender in a case of MCOCA. A tip-off was received by Crime Branch that one offender Mangat Ram wanted in a case of MCOC Act would come in Karawal Nagar, Delhi. Accordingly a team was constituted. A raid was conducted in Karawal Nagar, Delhi and the accused was successfully apprehended.Accused is previously involved in 5 cases of viz. MCOCA, murder, attempt to murder, robbery and arms act etc. The provisions of MCOC Act were invoked against him as he along with his two brothers, Bhupender Kasana and Narender Kasana are involved in more than 20 cases of murder, attempt to murder, criminal intimidation, robbery, land grabbing, assault on police/public servant in Delhi and U.P.
