New Delhi, Aug 26 (ANI): Congress interim president, Sonia Gandhi held a virtual meeting with Chief Ministers on August 26. Sonia Gandhi discussed the various pitfalls in the functioning of Central Government with respect to GST compensation and National Education Policy. Sonia Gandhi said, “In the meeting of Standing Committee of Finance on 11 August, Finance Secretary, Government of India stated that the Centre is not in a position to pay mandatory GST compensation of 14% for the current year.
