Bardhaman (West Bengal), June 12 (ANI): The word racism is not new to the world. Discrimination based on skin colour continues to prevail. In an unwelcoming incident in West Bengal’s Bardhaman, a primary school book depicted dark-skinned person as ‘ugly’. Book signified alphabet ‘U’ for ‘ugly’ with picture of a dark-skinned man. State Education Minister has ordered to investigate the matter and have suspended two people in this regard.
