New Delhi, Sep 30 (ANI): The Environment Minister of Delhi, Gopal Rai on September 30 said that he felt bad that Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Prakash Javadekar has no time to meet with Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal to discuss on solutions to reduce air pollution. While talking about the new initiative by Delhi government to combat air pollution due to stubble burning, Gopal Rai said, “Some-days back, Chief Minister of Delhi asked for meeting to Prakash Javadekar over the matter of air pollution, but he didn’t called him. Later the minister wrote a letter urging that that neighbouring states (Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh) should also take such steps.” Delhi government to use PUSA institute’s solution to curb pollution caused by stubble burning. This facility will be given free of cost to farmers. Officers of the Department of Agriculture were given training related to the technology to solve the problem of stubble burning by scientists of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The solution will be prepared from October 5 under the supervision of PUSA scientists.
