Policemen doing excellent services amid COVID-19 will be honoured: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), June 6 (ANI): During a video conference dialogue with police headquarters and police station level officials, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot announced that Policemen delivering excellent services will be honoured with Chief Minister Police Medal. Along with this, a scheme for permanent pass in roadways buses will soon start for the movement of policemen. CM also announced that free annual medical examination of policemen will be conducted along with housing facility for policemen through housing institutions, UIT, JDA and strengthening of medical facilities available in police lines, armed battalions and police training centers. CM Gehlot underlined that amid coronavirus pandemic, the police have displayed a humane face by performing the duties with dedication. The Chief Minister also said that the experience of war with corona was new for all of us. Many of the innovations made by the police to deal with it were successful and with collective efforts we are fighting this battle successfully. He also said that peace and harmony was maintained throughout the state in this hour of crisis and the police has played a big role in it.
