PM Modi plants ‘Parijaat’ sapling ahead of 'bhoomi pujan' in Ayodhya

Ayodhya (UP), Aug 05 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers to Ram Lalla, and performed 'sashtang pranam' (prostration) at Ram Janmbhoomi site on August 05. He also planted a ‘Parijaat’ sapling, considered a divine plant, ahead of foundation stone-laying of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. 'Parijaat' sapling was planted using traditional drip irrigation method ahead of 'bhoomi pujan'.
