New Delhi, June 20 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 20 launched the 'Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan' through video conferencing. It will boost opportunities for livelihood in rural India, within 125 days, for 116 districts. The scheme involved intensified and focused implementation of 25 different types of works to provide jobs and create infrastructure in the rural regions of the country with a resource envelope of Rs 50,000 crore. The campaign specifically aims to help migrant workers who have been hit hard by COVID-19.
