PM Modi inaugurates Income Tax Appellate Tribunal via video conference in Cuttack

New Delhi, Nov 11(ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated an office-cum-residential complex of Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) in Cuttack on November 11. The inauguration took place via video conferencing. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik also attended the event. PM Modi said, “Now the thinking of the government is that the income tax return that is being filed, trust it completely first. As a result of this, 99.75% of the returns filed in the country today are accepted without any objection. This is a big change that has come in the country's tax system.”
