Amritsar/ Ludhiana (Punjab), Sept 27 (ANI): Paddy procurement began at 'mandi' in Amritsar. State Government ordered to start procurement from September 27. “Procurement of paddy begins today. We've made all arrangements including arranging CCL (cash credit limit) and gunny bags. Number of 'mandis' has been increased to over 4019 from 1800 to make sure COVID-19 protocols are maintained,” said Punjab Food & Supplies Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu.
