New Delhi, Sept 04 (ANI): Foreign Secretary Harsh V Shringla attended Indian Council for World Affairs webinar on September 04. Talking about SAARC, Foreign Secretary said, “Prime Minister chose to use SAARC as a mechanism to reach out to south Asian leaders during the initial phase of the pandemic. It was a gesture that was appreciated by SAARC leadership. We were able to initiate the SAARC Emergency Response Fund.” He further said, “One of our neighbours has been consistently involved in blocking South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) in all of its constructive activities.”
