Jaipur (Rajasthan) September 22 (ANI): While reviewing the status and prevention of COVID-19 infection in the state, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot instructed the concerned authority to increase the number of oxygen beds, ICU and ventilators. These beds should be increased to a sufficient number as per the requirement. He said that the state government will make every possible effort to prevent the spread of corona infection in the state through better management of available resources. The Chief Minister said that people come from all over the division for treatment at Jodhpur, Kota, Bikaner, Udaipur and Ajmer divisional headquarters. In this way, along with strengthening the medical facilities there, one thousand oxygen beds, ICU and ventilators should be increased in Jaipur on priority. During the meeting, CM Gehlot also reviewed the implementation of section 144 imposed at 11 district headquarters of the state during this period. He instructed that it should be strictly followed. He said that the government would not hesitate to take similar steps in other districts if needed to prevent corona infection.
