No case of bird flu being transmitted to humans in India: Sanjeev Balyan

New Delhi, Jan 06 (ANI): Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Sanjeev Balyan, on January 06 informed that his ministry has received reports from five states about bird flu from Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala. Balyan asserted that no case has been reported in India that the bird flu is transmitted into humans and requested the state governments to take precautions and dispose the dead birds properly to avoid contamination. He added that the Ministry is in contact with states. Balyan also urged people to eat chicken by cooking it properly.
