Udhampur (J&K), Feb 07 (ANI): National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture has adopted a village in Udhampur. Villagers of Ritti village express their happiness as they will no longer be dependent on the sale of crops. One of the villagers said, "I'll now be able to make a living off of the cows I've got under the scheme instead of just depending upon crops." "Under NMSA, we're giving the farmers here a subsidy of 50% on small ruminants. As a result, this will help them sustain and increase their income along with traditional agriculture," said Subhash Chander Sharma, Chief Agriculture Officer, Udhampur
