New power receiving station helps villages get regular power supply in Shopian

Shopian (J&K), Aug 22 (ANI): People living in far flung areas of J&K’s Shopian district have a reason to cheer as their long pending demand of a new power receiving station has been completed. The 6.3 MVA power receiving station has been constructed by the sub-transmission division of Power Development Department (PDD) at a cost of Rs 3.4 crore. It will benefit 25 villagers of Kellar block. Locals have expressed happiness over the completion of the project as they said the newly constructed power receiving station will bring a change in their lives.
