Manali (Himachal Pradesh), Oct 03 (ANI): Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on October 03 stated that the new labour reforms will promote gender equality in the country. The PM made this statement while addressing a public rally in Himachal Pradesh’s Manali district. “Till now, women were not allowed to work in many sectors. But now the situation has been changed. Recently, the labour laws have been reformed, now women have also been given all the rights compared to men,” PM Modi. “People may do politics against meaningful changes in society and systems. This country is not going to stop,” PM Modi added. The Parliament passed the new Bills last month. The three labour codes got President's assent on September 30.
