Nashik farmer cultivates colourful cauliflower worth Rs 16 lakh

Nashik (Maharashtra), Feb 13 (ANI): A farmer in Maharashtra has successfully cultivated a hybrid crop which is worth Rs. 16 lakh. This 42-year-old farmer residing in Nashik now owns a coloured cauliflower farm with 20,000 kg of purple and yellow cauliflowers. He has spent approximately Rs 2 lakh for seeds, irrigation, fertilizers and farm labour. These unique seeds developed by Syngenta India Ltd in Pune alone cost him Rs 40,000.
