Mumbai, July 23 (ANI): Ahead of Bakri Eid, President of Raza Academy, Maulana Saeed Noori on July 23 stated that on June 24, he wrote a letter to Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray requesting him to allow some relaxation for namaz and Eid prayers. He said, “On June 24, we wrote to CM requesting to allow Eid prayers, like SC allowed Rath Yatra with restrictions. We want some relaxation for namaz and sacrifice during Bakri Eid. We will follow whatever restrictions govt mandates.” Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra has reached 3,37,607.
