Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja cancels Ganeshotsav, to felicitate families of fallen soldiers instead

Mumbai, July 01 (ANI): Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja Ganeshotsav Mandal has decided not to hold Ganeshotsav this time in wake of COVID-19 pandemic. While addressing a press conference in Mumbai on July 01, the Secretary of Lalbaugcha Raja Ganeshotsav Mandal, Sudhir Sitaram Salvi said, “We will felicitate families of slain soldiers who have lost their lives in Galwan Valley.” “From March 23-April 01, we organised a blood donation camp here amid coronavirus pandemic. We hope that we will continue working like this for our country,” he added. Lalbaugcha Raja Ganeshotsav Mandal will also donate the amount of Ganeshotsav to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
