Bengaluru, Jan 28 (ANI): Condemning the Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray accusation that Karnataka deliberately changed name of Belagavi district to Belgaum, Deputy CM Laxman Savadi said that Mumbai should also be included in Karnataka. “Mumbai should be included in Karnataka. Until that is done, I request Central govt to declare Mumbai as a Union Territory,” said Deputy CM Laxman Savadi. Earlier this month, Uddhav Thackeray created a political uproar by advocating the inclusion of Marathi-dominating regions of Karnataka into Maharashtra.
