Kupwara (J&K), Aug 07 (ANI): To preserve the traditional and world famous Kani shawls, Kashmiri girls in far flung area of Kulangam in Kupwara are availing the easy loans under Centre's MUDRA scheme. Although Kulangam has people who live simpler lives, the local girls with an aim to improve their financial positions and to promote the golden art, are receiving state government's help for facilitation of MUDRA loans. Through this, the artisans purchase raw material and new looms which are the basic requirements for kani and pashmina shawls.
