Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), Dec 15 (ANI): While addressing a Jan Jagran Abhiyan (public awareness campaign) to create awareness about the new farm laws, Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel on December 14 gave a controversial statement on the ongoing farmers' agitation against the agricultural reforms. Commenting on the farmer unions, the Minister said, "500 farmers' unions have come up like 'kukurmutta'. They're not farmer unions, but organisations of brokers, middlemen and anti-nationals. They are funded by foreign forces who don't want the country to become strong.”
