Syed Areej Safvi is preserving the art and trying to attract people to it. Ladishah is performed by men but now this girl is writing and performing the art, which makes her the first girl from Kashmir to perform the male dominated art. It is a type of folk ballad with humor forming an essential part of its presentation. In earlier days, Ladishah was performed in villages and towns to highlight the social issues. But due to the modernization, social media and other things have lost the glory of a number of cultural and traditional things and Ladishah is one of them.
