Baramulla (J&K), Sept 01 (ANI): Multiple recoveries of arms and ammunitions were made by the Indian Army along the Line of control in Rampur sector. After intense 7-hour search, 5 AK series rifles, 6 pistols, 23 grenades and more than 1200 rounds of ammunition were recovered. Indian Army GOC of 19 Infantry division, Major General Virendra Vats, said, “Pakistan's modus operandi is to dump weapons close to LoC, thereafter, they task OGWs to smuggle these weapons into Kashmir. We have been successful in defeating Pakistani designs and impact is being felt by terrorist who are unable to get advanced weapons.”
