Manoj Sinha announces Rs 28,400 crore industrial development scheme for J&K

Jammu (J&K), Jan 07 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on January 07 announced Rs 28,400-crore scheme for the industrial development in the Union Territory. Manoj Sinha said that the scheme will encourage new investments, substantial expansion and also nurture existing industries in Jammu & Kashmir. “The total amount that was disbursed by central government in industrial policy till 2019 was merely Rs 1123.84 crore while the new policy has an outlay of historic amount of Rs 28,400 crores. It will encourage new investments, substantial expansion and also nurture existing industries in Jammu & Kashmir,” said Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at an event in Jammu.
