Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi praises ‘vocal for local’ initiatives ahead of Raksha Bandhan

New Delhi, July 26 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 26 extended his wishes to countrymen ahead of Raksha Bandhan. He addressed the nation during his monthly radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’. He said, “Raksha Bandhan is approaching. I have seen that many people and organisations are running initiatives to celebrate the festival in a different manner. Many are linking it to 'Vocal for Local' and that is right.” “The joy of celebrating festival increases when it helps expand the business of people in our society, in our neighbourhood & make it a joyous festival for them too,” he added.
