Manish Sisodia announces Rs 10 lakh compensation over student fatally beaten by girl’s family

New Delhi, Oct 10 (ANI): Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on October 10 met the family of 18-year-old student who was allegedly fatally beaten by a girl’s family members. After expressing his condolences to victim’s family, Sisodia assured that the Delhi government will do everything to ensure that the court will give stringent punishment to the accused. He also informed that the Delhi government will give ex-gratia amount of Rs 10 lakh to victim boy’s family. An 18-year-old student was allegedly brutally beaten by a girl’s family members on October 07. The victim was admitted to Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial (BJRM) hospital in unconscious condition on Wednesday. Later on, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
