Manipur sisters crafting ‘Laiphadibi’ dolls using discarded clothes

Manipur (Imphal), Sept 03 (ANI): Two sisters in Imphal’s Manipur are making traditional cloth dolls. With the help of discarded clothes, a team of women crafts dolls in different sizes. Manipuri sisters are keeping the tradition of Laiphadibi (Manipuri word for dolls) alive. “I am planning to expand my business so as to provide employment to many others. People should also opt for doll-making as a means of livelihood,” said one sister.
