‘Machinery Mela’ organised for farmers’ welfare in Srinagar

Srinagar (J&K), Feb 17 (ANI): The Department of Horticulture organised a machinery fair in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar. The fair was conducted on February 16 for the welfare of farming community. Several dealers and retailers had put up their stalls to showcase their machinery which were being sold to farmers at subsidised rates. Different kinds of agricultural machinery like tractors, power tillers and spray pumps are being provided to farmers at 50% subsidy. Speaking to ANI, the Chief Horticulture Officer of Srinagar, CL Sharma said, “Different kinds of agricultural machinery like tractors, power tillers and spray pumps are being provided to farmers at 50% subsidy.”
