In love with Kerala, US citizen appeals court to extend his stay

Kochi (Kerala), July 11 (ANI): In love with Kerala, a 74-year-old US citizen, Johnny Paul Pierce has approached Kerala High Court seeking to convert his tourist visa into a business visa. Pierce’s stay in Kerala has been a ‘soul-soothing’ experience. “I am here from US, and I want to here, I love Kerala. I would like to get a business visa to begin a travel company to bring US tourists to Kerala. I am petitioning for that. Kerala is absolutely beautiful place. This is my fifth trip,” said Johnny Paul Pierce. His petition will be considered on July 14 (Tuesday). The guidelines of the Indian government permit continuous stay for only 180 days for foreigners on tourist visas. His 180 days is going to expire on August 24.
