Locals hopeful that Jammu Ropeway project will boost tourism and propel employment

Jammu (J&K), Aug 22 (ANI): Aimed at boosting economy and to generate employment to the locals, authorities have started Ropeway project in Jammu. Tourism will commence in the region soon after pandemic situation gets over. The prestigious project is divided into two sections one from bahu fort to mohamaya temple whose distance is 484 meters and the second section is from mohamaya to Peerkho whose distance is 1184 meters. Total cost of project is 75 crores which has the capacity of transporting 400 passengers per hour. The ticketing cost per person is Rs. 300.
