Locals dig rumours of gold, silver coins near river in MP

Rajgarh (Madhya Pradesh), Jan 11 (ANI): Rumours of gold and silver coins near Parvati River at Rajgarh attracted many nearby villagers. Full of hope, locals started digging deep. "We are trying to find silver coins; we heard that there are coins here, so we came in search of it. We hope to find something," said a villager. Spreading like fire, the rumours trailed villagers from as far as 35 kms. Digging and searching operations by locals has crossed over five days. However, a police official debunked the rumours and said no such coins were ever found here.
