Kashmiri youth participate in Run for Fun and Walkathon organised by Army

Budgam (J&K), Oct 26 (ANI): Indian Army organised a Walkathon and ‘Run for Fun’ marathon program in Kashmir to promote fitness among the teenagers. 210 boys and girls between the age of 14 and 18 took part in the event at the Old Air Field Military Station in Budgam district on October 25. Army officials and civil administration officers flagged off the Run for Fun and Walkathon, which were held on the theme of ‘Youngistan Dil Se Bhag’. Distance of four kilometres was covered in the Run for Fun, while the Walkathon spanned for 3 kilometres. Both the events inspired the youth of the valley towards physical fitness.
