Kashmir gets infrastructure boost in higher education sector

Ganderbal (JandK), Aug 02 (ANI): With an aim to boost the higher education sector, the UT of Jammu and Kashmir is expanding the infrastructure of the Govt. Degree College Ganderbal in central Kashmir. Construction of an auditorium, new classrooms and an additional library is underway at the college. Earlier, the students had to face several issues while organising any event due to the absence of an auditorium. Now that the construction is going on, they expressed their happiness over the new projects which will also facilitate more students with new classrooms being built. Students hailed the efforts of the state government for showing keen interest in developing modern facilities at the college including auditorium , Conference hall, Cultural hall, Debate hall and also modern library. JandK, since being converted into a union territory last year following the abrogation of Article 370, is seeing development works picking up speed.
