Karnataka Post Circle initiates online 'Rakhi Post' service amid COVID-19 pandemic

Mangaluru (Karnataka), July 29 (ANI): The Karnataka Post Circle took a unique step on occasion of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ as they have started an online 'Rakhi Post' service. People can book ‘rakhi’ online at a nominal cost. The initiative has been started in view of COVID-19 pandemic. Senior Superintendent of Post Offices of Mangaluru division, N Sriharsha said, "We have started this initiative during COVID-19 pandemic so that people can simply book a Rakhi online at a nominal cost of Rs 100. As a special feature, we have also started a 'send a Rakhi to a Soldier' service."
