J&K’s Udhampur gets 63 KVA transformer under Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana

Udhampur (Jammu & Kashmir), June 23 (ANI): Under Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana, a 63 KVA transformer has been installed at Kulan village in Jammu & Kashmir’s Udhampur. Several houses in the area earlier faced huge problems because of single phase low voltage electricity. The installation of the transformer redressed the problems being faced by the villagers including students. While speaking to ANI, a local said, “Electricity has come to our village properly for the first time, earlier it used to come once or twice a month.”
