J&K Police personnel get trained to tackle natural disasters

Samba (J&K), Feb 11, (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir police personnel are being trained by the Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) in Samba district. The trainees are practicing ascending and descending the Rocky Mountains and carrying victims, searching lost people on avalanches, and other natural disaster training activities. More than 1500 police personnel have been trained. The MRT team aims to train 3000 people this year.
