J&K gets it’s first-ever antibodies detection machine

Doda (Jammu and Kashmir), July 28 (ANI): Govt Medical College of Doda installed machine for detection of antibodies in samples. The machine is called 'Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (USA) Vitros ECI Immunoassay Analyzer' and it can perform around 300 coronavirus tests per day. This is one such kind of machine installed in J&K. HOD of Biochemistry department, Dr Ashraf Ali Khan said, “The profit of this machine is that anyone can come to us and test themselves for COVID-19. Test cost to be between Rs700-900.This machine can perform around 300 tests/day.”
