Madurai (TN), Jan 14 (ANI): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on January 14 reached Madurai to watch Jallikattu. Starting his sentence by wishing Pongal to everyone, he said that Jallikattu is not harmful for animals. “The way it (Jallikattu) was done today, there was absolutely no chance of either the bull getting injured, in fact, if anyone who is likely to injured that is the young men who are doing ‘Jallikattu’,” he said. He added that there have been changes to make it safer to everybody.
