New Delhi, June 30 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 30 said amid the COVID-19 pandemic, his government has provided free ration to more than 80 crore people in the nation in the last three months, a feat which has stunned the world. This ratio is more than 2.5 times the population of the US, 12 times the United Kingdom, and 2 times the European Union. “Under PM Garib Kalyan AnnaYojana, we announced a package of Rs. 1.75 lakh crore. In the last 3 months, Rs 31,000 crore deposited in bank accounts of 20 crore poor families. Also, Rs 18,000 crore deposited in bank accounts of more than 9 crore farmers,” PM further said.
