India’s COVID-19 tally rises to 23.29 lakh with 60,963 new cases

New Delhi, Aug 12 (ANI): India on August 12 reported single-day spike of 60,963 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. 834 people lost their lives because of pandemic yesterday during the same period. According to Ministry of Health, the COVID19 tally rose to 23,29,639 including 6,43,948 active cases. 46,091 lost their lives due to the deadly virus so far. Meanwhile, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said 7,33,449 COVID-19 samples were tested on August 11. 2,60,15,297 COVID-19 samples have been tested so far, according to ICMR.
