Indian Railways unveils new Tejas locomotives

Asansol (WB), Oct 03 (ANI): Indian Railways' electric locomotive manufacturing unit Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) has turned out first batch of Tejas Express locomotives amid COVID-19 scare. These locos are made for'push-pull' operations. CLW is one of the largest Electric Locomotive manufacturers in the world. The 'push-pull' technology will help the passenger electric locomotives to reduce air drags at higher speed. The Tejas locomotive is capable to run at 160 kmph.
