High-tech poly houses boost vegetable cultivation in Kashmir

Srinagar (J&K), Jul 26 (ANI): Abrogation of Article 370 has paved way for successful implementation of Centre-sponsored schemes in Kashmir. New state of the art poly houses are prime examples of Government’s intentions to benefit people in Kashmir at ground level. These hi-tech poly houses costing Rs 10 lakh have been installed under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana. With latest features like humidity control, fogger system, temperature controller and heating system for harsh winters, poly houses give perfect condition to boost cultivation of vegetables. Major chunk of Kashmir’s population is dependent on cultivation of vegetables for livelihood. Modern poly houses will ensure round the year cultivation and stable income for cultivators.
