Harsh Vardhan inaugurates new infrastructure at RIMS hospital in Manipur

Imphal (Manipur), March 1 (ANI): Union Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan inaugurated several new infrastructure facilities at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal on March 1. Newly inaugurated facilities include a new MRI block with 3-Tesla MRI machines, new PG ladies hostel of 100 capacity (G-3), a Neuro block, and a College of Nursing (new block). Member of Parliament RK Ranjan Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Maharaja Sanajaoba Leishemba, and Director Prof A. Santa Singh of RIMS and other dignitaries also graced the occasion. In his address at the Jubilee Hall of RIMS, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan lauded the RIMS authorities for enabling the completion of the infrastructure projects despite the hardships being faced while procuring equipments, particularly the imported Tesla MRI machine amidst the COVID-19 induced lockdown.
