Jaipur (Rajasthan) February 10 (ANI): State government is working with complete commitment and in a planned way to connect the tribal areas of the state with mainstream development, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, said this while addressing the Tribes Advisory Council meeting. The CM said that in the last two years, every effort has been made to fulfil various announcements related to education, medicine, roads, electricity, water, employment in these areas. The CM underlined that the state government is running many schemes and programs for the welfare of tribal people. The public representatives of the tribal areas should play a positive role in motivating the people and providing them full benefits. During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the officers to take the decisions with full sensitivity in matters related to forest rights pattas in tribal areas. Instructing to expedite the work of distributing forest rights pattas, the CM said that the community claims cases should be decided within the stipulated time. He also stressed that the schemes announced for irrigation and drinking water in the TSP area should be completed on priority basis.
