Jaipur (Rajasthan) Dec 19 (ANI): In the state-level function organised on the occasion of second anniversary of the State Government, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot along with the members of the Cabinet laid foundation, inaugurated and dedicated to public 1362 development projects worth Rs. 11,230 crore. During the programme, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the State Government has stood up to the aspirations and expectations of people despite the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges of the economy. The Chief Minister said, “In such tough conditions, in just two years we have fulfilled more than 50% of the promises made in the manifesto. Now, we are making efforts to fulfil all the promises made to the people by increasing the pace of development and establish Rajasthan as a model of good governance". The CM Gehlot said that COVID-19 pandemic impacted deeply on the economy and development works in Rajasthan as well as the entire country and the world. Despite that the State Government worked tirelessly to provide relief to every section of society through efficient management. He said that the medical infrastructure was strengthened across the state with a farsighted thinking by changing this crisis situation into an opportunity. Now, foolproof arrangements have been made for safe transport, storage of vaccines and for vaccine centres.
